I love love.
I love love.
I get a good amount of emails requesting quotes for personal work like tattoos and wedding invitations, and unfortunately for the most part I can’t take them on (I actually have a “blood relatives only” policy for tattoo design). When Stuart Lang wrote me to ask if I’d help him propose to his girlfriend while they were visiting San Francisco from London, he wrote at just the right moment in time—I was in a particularly lovey dovey mood and nearing the end of my own wedding preparations. He needed the artwork three days after I returned from my honeymoon, and the plan was so sweet I just couldn’t turn it down. The artwork brief was open-ended and the plan was to propose with the artwork while out at a restaurant with his lady. The artwork would act as an awesome keepsake of the day if things had gone smoothly. I got the art framed for him and even schemed with the restaurant manager about how it would take place. The proposal was successful and I couldn't be happier for Stu and Amy! Stuart offered to pay, but I did it for free because it was more fun that way. Yay love!
