How to Raise a Reader
How to Raise a Reader
An indispensable guide to welcoming children—from babies to teens—to a lifelong love of reading, written by Pamela Paul and Maria Russo, editors of The New York Times Book Review. The book itself is full of illustration by four different illustrators, and I was tasked with helping the cover tie into art from the interior. This was accomplished both through color, and also re-illustrating characters from the interior art in my vector drawing style.
- Client: Workman Press
- Art Direction: Janet Vicario
- Additional Credits: Character illustrations based on sketches/art by Vera Brogsol, who created a number of the interior illustrations for the book.
